Terms of use

These terms cover reading the Perspicora website and its public feeds. They do not cover a subscription, a newsletter, an account, or comments, because those services are not offered.

Perspicora is published by Synoptiva Media Group. The publishing company is being registered in Estonia and is not yet a party that can be named from a register extract. No governing-law clause is adopted on this page until that company exists. If you are a consumer, a right to sue in your local courts remains, and a mandatory consumer rule that cannot be waived remains in force.

The publication

Perspicora publishes news and related journalism for general information. It is not legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice. A story is a record at a point in time and may be corrected. See the corrections ledger.

What you may do

You may:

• read the site and keep a private copy where the law allows;
• link to a page;
• use the public RSS feeds for personal, non-commercial reading;
• quote a passage for criticism, review, or news reporting, in proportion to the purpose and with credit, where the quotation exception in your country allows it.

Ordinary browser use, and search indexing that shows links and short quotations allowed by law, are permitted. These terms do not ban all automated access, and they do not turn a crawler who never accepted them into a contracting party.

What you may not do

You may not:

• disrupt the service or bypass an access control;
• present Perspicora material as your own;
• republish, translate, or take a substantial extract except as the copyright page or the law allows;
• treat a feed as a licence to republish.

No licence is granted to train a model or to build a commercial dataset. A statutory permission for scientific-research text and data mining is not taken away by these terms. A commercial text-and-data-mining reservation has not been adopted. Silence on this page is not that reservation, and a sentence in terms is not a machine-readable reservation.

Liability

The publisher remains responsible for liability that the law does not allow it to exclude, including death or personal injury caused by negligence, and fraud. Subject to that, do not treat one article as the only basis for a legal, medical, or financial decision. Nothing here waives a statutory right of correction, a data-protection right, or a consumer right.

These terms may be updated by publishing a new version on this page. Continued reading after that publication is not treated as a waiver of a right the law does not allow you to waive.
