Privacy

Perspicora is published by Synoptiva Media Group. The publishing company is being registered in Estonia and is not yet entered in the commercial register. This notice therefore does not name a registry code, a registered office, a data-protection officer, or a public privacy address. It describes the site as it works now. It is not a claim that every duty under the GDPR is finished.

Who decides

Until the company is entered, a controller established in Estonia cannot be named from a register extract. Once that controller exists, the lead supervisory authority for cross-border processing is the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon). You may also complain to the authority in the EU country where you live or work.

An ordinary visit

Delivering a page produces connection data:

• IP address;
• date and time;
• the address you requested;
• the browser identifier the browser sends;
• the referring page, when the browser sends one.

If you choose a display theme, the browser stores light or dark under the key perspicora-theme and applies it on later visits. That choice is described on the cookies page.

This information is used to send the page, to keep the site available, and to apply the display you chose. The site does not run an analytics product. It does not sell advertising, open accounts, send a newsletter, host comments, take donations, or offer a secure channel for confidential sources. It does not make an automated decision that produces a legal or similarly significant effect about you.

Hosting

The site is served through a Cloudflare proxy to the host. A processing contract and a transfer tool for connection data are not stated here, because they are not yet recorded. No retention period is invented on this page. Cookies the proxy may set were not inventoried and are not named.

Messages and published journalism

There is no public contact form. If you later write about a correction, that message is used to examine the request. Do not send confidential source material. There is no secure intake.

A request to erase a published story is not granted automatically. Publication is weighed against the rights of the person concerned. The Estonian rule for journalism, once a controller exists, is section 4 of the Personal Data Protection Act: processing for a journalistic purpose without consent where there is a public interest and the publication does not excessively harm the person.

Children

The publication is not offered as a service directed at children. It does not ask for an account or a date of birth.

Your rights

Where the GDPR applies, you may ask for access, correction, erasure, restriction, or a portable copy, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Those rights have limits, including where keeping a published story is justified by the journalism rule above. A public privacy address is not published yet, because the company is not entered in the register.
